Why it exists
Every engineering team knows the routine after an alert: open the error tool, find the stack trace, dig through recent commits, guess at the cause, write the fix, write a test, open the pull request, update the ticket. Most of that is the same work every time.
Mendloop does that work and leaves the decision to people. It reads your code and history, cites the exact lines behind each error, and asks the code owner one question: approve this fix? Only then does it write anything, always on a new branch, with a regression test that proves the bug and the fix.
Where it stands
The full loop works end to end today: errors in from Sentry or our SDK, root cause with cited lines, approval in the web app or Slack, a fix verified in a sandbox, a pull request on GitHub, and the Jira ticket closed on merge. If the bug comes back in a later release, the issue reopens.
Mendloop runs on any AI model provider, or on local models, and self-hosts with only Postgres and Redis. Next on the list: GitLab and Bitbucket, mobile SDKs, Microsoft Teams, and support tools.
Company
Mendloop is an early-stage, self-funded startup founded in 2026 by Vaibhav Kapoor. It is not yet incorporated; until it is, Vaibhav operates Mendloop and this website.
